By Lice Clinics of Texas
Hi there! Larry the Louse here — ready to tell my side of the story. Because let’s face it, every parent dreads the words “Mom, my head itches,” but for us lice? That’s the start of a party, it’s “Actually Romantic”.
It all started on a Friday night at Emma’s house — a classic kids’ sleepover. Pizza, popcorn, matching PJs, and… braiding each other’s hair. Oh, music to my antennae. You see, we lice live for close contact moments like these. One braid, one hug, one selfie too close — and boom! Instant relocation opportunities. I got the chance to make a move. I ran from Emma’s scalp to London’s like a tiny, six-legged Olympian. New host, new home, my “Wildest Dreams” coming true.
The girls giggled, sang, and debated over which Taylor Swift era was the best (for the record, I’m a Reputation fan). I munched happily, partying like a rockstar and thinking to myself I hope this lice party doesn’t “Ruin the friendship”. Then suddenly things took a dark turn. Around 12 a.m., the scratching started. Then came the flashlight and cue Taylor Swift “You need to calm down”. The mom checked through everyone’s hair while me and all of my friends knew this party was coming to an end, “So Long London”. The mom calmly said:
“I’m booking appointments for everyone at Lice Clinics of Texas first thing in the morning.”
Uh-oh. That’s our version of “How Did It End”. Those people have a one-hour treatment that shuts down a party us faster than you can sing “Who’s afraid of little old me”. No oils, no combing marathons, no old wives’ mayonnaise tricks — just pure, professional doom for us lice.
So yeah, maybe I crashed the slumber party — but the real heroes here are the parents who knew exactly who to call.
If lice ever decide to join your kid’s next sleepover, don’t panic. Just skip the DIY madness and call Lice Clinics of Texas, where one quick visit means everyone’s itch-free and back to dancing in their pajamas.
Because while Larry the Louse loves a good party… Lice Clinics of Texas always shuts it down.
