Jessica Evans and Michelle Sunshine opened Lice Clinics of Texas in 2012 because they struggled with lice with their own kids and knew there had to be a better way.

Jessica Evans and Michelle Sunshine are Austin moms first, business owners second. Like millions of parents, they know firsthand how overwhelming a lice outbreak can be, the panic, the endless combing, the products that don't work, the sleepless nights.

In 2012, they opened their first Lice Clinics of Texas location in Austin to offer something that didn't exist yet in their community: a professional, one-visit lice treatment that actually worked, without chemicals or toxins of any kind.

Since 2012, they have grown to operate 5 clinics across Texas and have helped thousands of families end their lice nightmare, fast.

Our timeline

2012

Opened in Central Austin. Introduced our new heated air treatment to Texas families.

2015

Expanded to Houston (now in Katy/West Houston) and San Antonio markets.

2024

Cedar Park clinic opened to better serve Austin's rapidly growing northern suburbs.

2025

Lakeway clinic opened to better serve the Lake Travis area, as well as Dripping Springs and Hill Country families.

Today

We proudly operate 5 clinics and are exploring new locations across Texas. We have served thousands of families, always with the longest guarantee in the state and always with empathy and unmatched customer service.
