Check out the Ford Holiday River Parade, SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration, Six Flags Fiesta Texas Holiday in the Park, Zoo Lights!, the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon & 1/2 Marathon and the Valero Alamo Bowl.  Any family who passes through San Antonio would love to stop by  La Tamalada at the Witte Museum and at La Gran Tamalada at Market Square to try the ultimate tamale, learn to make your own or experience a true Mexican tradition the way it was meant to be.

Houston is bustling this time of year with fabulous activities for all ages and stages in life. If you have children make sure to stop by Old Town Spring: Home for the Holidays

Every weekend through Dec. 22nd, Old Town Spring will host holiday activities for the whole family. Free carriage rides, choir entertainments, dance performances, petting zoo and much more. Santa will be waiting for you and take a picture with you for a small fee.

You Can’t Beat the Classics

This Christmas Season catch  A Christmas Carol – A Ghost Story of Christmas thorough Dec. 29th, 2019. 

This retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic story, which follows Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey with the three ghostly spirits who visit him on Christmas Eve. A Christmas Carol instills a powerful message about redemption and the spirit of the holiday season.

Also playing downtown at the Wortham Theater is  Houston Ballet’s The Nutcracker through Dec. 29th, 2019. This joyous production of The Nutcracker by Stanton Welch AM is a must-see! 

The holiday season is not complete without the beloved characters from this timeless classic set to Tchaikovsky’s splendid score. Gather your family and friends and join Clara in holiday revelry as she journeys from her home on Christmas Eve, through a magical Christmas tree, and into the whimsical Kingdom of Sweets accompanied by her Nutcracker Prince.
